Default Playing a low set on a scary board

Hi

I think I had odds here can someone help
1/2 at Gaming Club

I hold 33
2 limpers I call in MP, 3 calls behind and blinds come along
8 to see flop

Flop 2s 4d 3s
SB bet, BB fold, utg called, MP1 raise, I 3 bet, fold, LP1 caps, LP2 calls, Button calls. utg folds
5 to the turn, Pot is 29 SB

Turn (2h 4d 3s) 8d
SB bet, mp1 folds, I raise,(Ithink is mistake #1) LP2 3 bets, Button folds, call
I figure someone has a st8 but I should be getting odds to draw to a boat. Pot is 23.5BB I have 7 outs or about 6.5:1 on making full house or quads don't I?

River (2s 4d 3s 8d) Jh

SB ch, I bet(mistake # 2), call, call

Did I make only?? the 2 mistakes here or am i way of base?

Thanks
RickA

ps They both had A5s to split pot

I like the turn raise and you have 10 outs not 7. the last 3, three 2s,4s,8s. When you are reraised, checkcall from there unless you hit the house.

preflop fine.

Flop, fine. The cap should have sent up red flags though.

Turn: I only call here, there's a lot of strength being shown on a board that doesn't have that many possibilties for that kind of strength.
It's almost certain that you're up against either the str8 or another set. AA, KK, etc are highly unlikely since there was no preflop raise. If it's another set you win against win lose against the other. But you have at least 2 people showing very strong hands. You're flop raise got capped, and then a capped raise was cold-called. Not too many people will cold-call a cap without a strong made hand (or an ultrastrong draw)

Turn: The raise was a mistake. A call was definitely in order here. You had 7 outs going into the turn to make a boat or better. Going into the river you have 10 outs. Once you flop a set it will turn into a boat or quads about 1/3 of the time. So you need 4 to 1 to call the river - an easy call here.

River: yes the river bet was a mistake. I check here, and make the crying call if someone bets (but fold to a bet and raise). You should be happy that someone didn't raise you.
