Default Folding TPTK on the flop

For the first time in wy short poker life I folded top pair top kicker on the flop.

.25-.50 at Stars
I'm in MP w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 1 limper to me I raise get called by 2lp, both blinds and EP.

Flop: k [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]j [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]t [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets, BB raises, EP calls, I fold.

Do you fold here? I figure my Ks my be dead and if I hit my A it will make a strait. If someone doesn't already have the Flush one more spade and I'm dead.

Peace

I wouldn't fold for 1 bet here...but after a better, a raiser, and a cold-caller? Plus the SB could still 3-bet it.

I'm out. You're drawing almost dead to a made flush, plus a board like that often makes somebody 2 pair, especially in a raised pot...and it's gonna get very expensive to see the river.

Good fold, IMO.

I agree, the coldcaller kills it. Good fold.

If no cold caller, I would coldcall (a rare instance of that). If a spade falls or you see the same action on the turn, then fold. Otherwise with no more spades you are in till the bitter end.

Actually, I'm happily folding because I'm not 100% sure on the alternatives I mention above. If someone has a better idea, spit it out.

First off, I agree it's a sensible fold. However, we may be giving undue credit to the quality of your opponents in a .25/.5 game. If feeling feisty, I'd raise in hopes of knocking out the two LPs with the intent of folding to a cap. On the turn I'm out on a second early position raise or if the A or any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] falls with significant action. I suppose the real point is in this situation the only options are raise or fold. That said, I'll return to my original comment and commend you for dropping top pair/top kicker.
