Default The cost of Party\'s new rake structure

I had 94k hands at 3/6 prior to the change. The average rake per raked hand was $1.32 per hand and the average rake for all hands was $1.18.

I have 9200 hands after the change. The averages are $1.49 and $1.35. That is an extra $11.o5 per hour at 65 hands per hour.

11.05 for Party, not -11.05 for you, I assume. Your negative share is more like 10% of that, I would think.

I guess that is one way to calculate it. I'm leaning towards this:

7.64% win rate
65 hands per hour
4.966 hands won per hour
$.17 extra taken our ot 4.966 hands per hour
$.84 per hour hit to the hourly rate.

I'd up the estimate a bit. I've heard it said many times that winning (ie. correctly tight) players will pay less than their "full" share of the rake because they will win less than an average number of pots. However, the pots you win are hopefully bigger than average. According to PokerTracker, I win 7.37% of hands played but pay 7.67% of the total rake.
