Playing 3-6 on party this morning... and had pocket 10's in late position

got my third 10 on the turn...

two callers, no raise...

River comes a 2nd king on the board.. no other pair

Pot raised up in a nano second by player in front of me...

All I could think of was

3 kings beat my 3 tens...

Folded the boat to the raise, and I didn't realize what I had done for about an hour til I was just mulling over my hands in my mind and suddenly realized what I had done.

I have done exactly the same thing, folded because somebody had a straight on the turn and I didn't realize I made my boat on the river. It hurts now but it will make you stronger and you will be able to laugh about it one day.

Making a mistake isn't a bad thing, failing to learn from it is. Consider it a lesson to think twice and act once and if you learn the lesson it was money well "invested".

Sorry, can't do it.

But I almost did something similar in the middle of a suckfest. The river gave someone a flush and came very close to mucking the hand before I saw that it made my boat as well. I actually don't know how I managed to process so many emotions in the few seconds you have to act but I went from completely beserk, to "oh-no act in time you idiot", to shamefully happy in about 6 nanoseconds. LOL It's easy to laugh now, but it was very bizarre.
