SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA
I grew up in Shreveport, LA.
I'm going back there for Christmas to visit the folks. They have poker there now I hear. I like poker. Where can I play poker in Shreveport? Are any 2+2'ers from Shreveport?

The Hollywood Casino is the only poker room in town. It's pretty small with about 6-8 tables. They spread $4-8, $10-20, and $20-40, and 1-5 Stud. The waiting list is very long, so call ahead (like 2 hours on the weekend). I've only played the 4-8. It was very soft. I'm not lying when I say that it averaged 8-9 people seeing every flop, usually for one bet.
I grew up in Shreveport too, folks still live there, so I go play when I head up that way. Good luck, and post a report after you've cleaned up the place.

The 10/20 and 20/40 are not that tough usually. They also spread a PL game there. I think the blinds are 5/10. I have a friend who plays in this game regularly. If you decide to play the PL game, make no mistake, some of those guys are TOP notch players. Players from all over Louisiana and Texas show up each week to feed on the few fish who try this game. Play well!

Hey guys, I just went to work in shreveport and hope to move to the area soon. (I am staying at a hotel during the week.) I hope to become a regular at the Hollywood in a few months when everything gets settled. I will post when I do. I would love to meet you or any other 2+2 posters.
