Default Foreign Language Table Chat

This is the first time I recall playing at a table with two people non-stop chatting back and forth in Swedish....They could be talking about anything, would you switch tables?

First thing I would do is call a floorman (if the site offers it.) If that is to no avail, then yes, I would switch.

Default This is the ONLINE Forum right?

First thing I'd do is to tell them to
"Stop speaking [censored] Sputnik".

Really, did you tell them to stop?
No way I'd put up with this. Whenever I've encountered it telling them to stop doing it has sufficed.

Default Are there any cardrooms where English is not the native language?

This english-centric thing seems on kinda hazy moral ground. I understand the logic, but not everyone speaks English.

i think you should teach yourself to speak 25 different foreign languages so that you'ii know if they're talking bout their cards.
could give you a nice little advantage if they are just declaring their hands.
plus, if they're not talking cards then perhaps you can join in on the conversation about whatever it is swedes talk about.

Actually I tend to stay at the same table and use a free online translation site to get an idea what they are saying.

Typical translations come back as something like.

"Fish Lucky Stream Death" but you usually get the idea.

i 'd say chinese (mandarin) is more popular (at least spoken by more ppl), but it doenst matter as the rules states that you should use engilsh for chat.

Swedish is the 85th biggest languge so even if you learn 25 i'd say that you still in trouble at that table...
