Party\'s slightly higher rake?
It seems that Party is taking the rake in halve dollar increments, as opposed to dollars, now in the $10-20 limit hold'em. 50 cents every $10 from the previous $1 every $20.

Re: Party\'s slightly higher rake?
I noticed that too, what is next?
I am still looking and longing for a site who lets you play for a monthly fee (if you choose to). Or one that will give a substancial % of the rake you pay out of the pots you win back to you without going through any affiliates. |

Re: Party\'s slightly higher rake?
So you could be playing at TruePoker. They seem to have a program that is quite generous and though they do have an affiliate program, you don't have to use it. I doubt the program calculates to as much as 30% of the rake, but it is good.
The sites that I know are using the rake return as a method of marketing. By tying it to a 10% for the referror and 30% to the player, it just fits quite easily in the affiliate software, and gives an incentive that is very easy for the player to collect and cost effective for the site. The money is not only pays for "acquisition" of players, but also "retention" and "loyalty" without threats...just promises. Empire did have a revenue sharing program for about a month, before Party insisted it stop. |

Re: Funny part
How can each skin have a different rake structure since it's the same table? One would assume that the rake structure has to change at all the associated skins.
