BB/HR /GOALS 4 Solid 2+2er!!!
Hey guys havent been here for quite a while I was building my bankroll bonus whoring!! ... That all done and dusted I need some raw advice again.
I would really like to know how many bb/hr "A Solid 2+2er" could expect for the following limits ... .5/1 through to 3/6 - playing one table .5/1 through to /36 - playing 2 tables Something like this Playing One Table $.5/$1 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $1/$2 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $2/$4 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $3/$6 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr Playing 2 Tables $.5/$1 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $1/$2 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $2/$4 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr $3/$6 ... 1bb/hr - Xbb/hr You get the idea ... depending on every players individual skill you would expect some to be able to get more than others ... Im not looking for an average, would like to see where everyone is honestly at with atleast 30k hands at each level (am I pushing it?) Anyway I would really appreciate as much feedback from as many people as possible on this please Take care Jonathan |

Re: BB/HR /GOALS 4 Solid 2+2er!!!
Hi Jonathon,
I don't have a lot of records for two tables - but when I was playing three tables of 3/6 at Party I was averaging 3.9 BB/HR with a SD of 13.5 - This was earlier this year - I am not sure if the games have gotten tighter since then or not.... A good ABC game should net you close to 1 BB/HR at each table depending on how well you keep notes and how good you are at keeping your eye on multiple tables... For a general rule I would say 1 - 1.5 BB/hr can be done in these games because the games are loaded with two types of players: 1. WPT fans - Chip spraying is their favorite thing. 2. Weak Tight Newbies - There learning and being too cautious. |

1 bb/hr?
Given that you see many more (2-3 times?) hands per hour online than you do in a B&M, and given that the players are often weaker online (so I've heard), and (last "and", I promise) given that a solid player should win 1-1.5 bb/hr in a B&M, shouldn't a solid player's win rate online (per table) be in the 3 bb/hr range?
I'm just asking here, since I have little experience online, but have been weighing my options. if my guesses are true (or close to true), I'd guess that you could average about 30-40/hr playing two tables of 3-6 online. sounds really high to me, but maybe it is a goldmine. |

Re: 1 bb/hr?
this idea keeps coming up over and over again but the general consensus is that a B&M 4/8 game plays more like an online .50/1 game.
an online 3/6 game is typically a bit tougher than a B&M 3/6 game. i am guessing online 3/6 plays more like B&M 5/10 or 8/16 but i have never played those limits live. i', pretty sure i've seen this idea posted previously though by more than one knowledgeable player. yes, there are some pretty lousy 2/4 and 3/6 online players out there...but typically they are going to be better than a live table at the same level (unless you'e playing on PacificPoker, har har).. i don't have enough hands to answer the question...but most seem to agree that online 1BB/hr per table is a very realistic goal. it's possible to make 1.5 per table but is definately no guarantee. i pretty much shoot for 1 or 1.25BB/hr and anything i make over that is gravy. if i'm falling short of 1BB/hr over the course of a long enough sample then i really need to take a hard look at what holes in my game need plugging. if you are counting on making 2.5 or 3BB/hr per table over a stretch of 30k hands or more you will most likely be disappointed unless you are a pretty exceptional player. i still wouldn't mind seeing some of the answers if anyone provides any....i don't have nearly enough hands to take part. |

Re: BB/HR /GOALS 4 Solid 2+2er!!!
Don't play 2/4 anymore but when I played 2-3 tables at a time my win was 2.25BB/hour/table.
At 3/6, playing 2-3 tables my win rate is 1.5BB/hour/table. I think these rates are far from optimum because I have a lot of leaks in my game. |

Re: BB/HR /GOALS 4 Solid 2+2er!!!
Take a look at davidross' "Playing online for a living" series of posts to understand what playing 3/6 over the long haul with 2-3 tables can earn. I think he was at 3/6 from about week 10 to about week 25. |

Re: 3-10 BB/hr online
1 to 1.5 BB per hour is fine for the B&M cardrooms. The rate online is much higher. Your 3.9 is probably real close to the mean.

Re: 3-10 BB/hr online
3 maybe, for real good players playing in very bad games, 3.9 being the "mean" hardly, and 10 no way. Why people keep insisting on posting these ridiculous #s is beyond me. They are unattainable over any statistically significant # of hours, and anyone thinking they can make TEN big bets per hour per game is fooling themselves, if no one else.

Re: BB/HR /GOALS 4 Solid 2+2er!!!
Well, I'm probably not a "solid 2 + 2er", and I don't have 30K hands at each of these levels, but here are my stats, for what it's worth:
.50/1 - 6300 hands (122 hrs) 4.3BB/hr 8.35BB/100 hds 1/2 - 13600 hands (241 hrs) 3.8BB/hr 6.83BB/100 hds 2/4 - 6250 hands (106 hrs) 2.45BB/hr 4.13BB/100 hds Also, I usually only play 1 table at a time, and these figures have come down a little bit since this summer, when all the games were very soft. Would like to see some other players' stats also, curious as to how others are doing. Hope this helps |
