10-20 KQs
I'm in middle position with KQ suited. No really good players in the game and a few calling stations.
2 EP limp, I limp with KQ suited, CO and button limp, SB folds, BB checks. Flop of K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] check, check, player to my right bets, I raise, CO folds, button cold calls two bets, rest fold, original bettor calls. Turn is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] check, I bet, both call. River is the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] making the board K8989, two clubs. checked to me, with one player behind me. Bet or check? I checked. |

Re: 10-20 KQs
Raise preflop.
Bet the river. An 8 wasn't out or you'd have heard it on the turn. So now you are worried that someone hung out with what would have to be almost specifically A9? Bah, bet and expect someone to fold a straight draw and someone to call with a worse king. On your lucky days you'll get called by two worse kings. |

Re: 10-20 KQs
hi dante
good check-down. you are not a 2 to 1 favorite when called and because of the over-caller, that is about what you'd need here. yes, you are still a favorite when only called, but it's razor thin and because of this, you should avoid the risk of a possible raise. |
