Default 2 Hands, Both Huge pots.

This is live play.
Hand #1
$8-16 full table
I'm in the CO with A2 of Hearts
Pretty much the whole table limps to me, I limp.
BB raises, UTG 3-bets(which means nothing),everyone calls,I call, and by the time the dust settles I've payed 5 bets to see the flop with A2 suited in almost a family pot. 2 people are all-in now.
Flop A86 r
BB bets, 1 caller, I call. 3 plus 2 all-in people to the turn.
Turn 2
BB bets, caller folds, I raise, BB calls.
River 4
BB bets again, I raise, he calls.

Hand #2
$6-12 full table
I'm in the SB with JJ
UTG+1 raises (which means nothing), everyone calls to the button(last hand he 3-bet bluffed the river against two people) who 3-bets, I call, BB folds, UTG+1 4-bets, all call, and I just cap it. So 7 to the flop.
Flop 338 two diamonds
It's capped 4 ways
Turn A I check, check, check, button bets.
I call, UTG+1 calls, fold.
3 to the river
River another A which is a diamond.
I check, check, button bets.
I call, UTG+1 folds.

Also, most of the key players in both these pots are borderline maniacs.

I think I should have folded both of these hands preflop, Hand #1 when it comes back to me for 2 more and Hand #2 when it's 3 bets to me in the SB. However, I did win one of these pots.

I agree, folding in both cases would have been prudent.

Do you go by Bob T at the club? Just trying to figure out who you are.

Yes, I am Bob T. there, but I have been playing mostly online lately. If I do play there, it is usually after 2:00 AM for a couple of hours.

When I do play there, I am usually somewhere in the 4-8, 6-12, 8-16 tables.
