Default Kinda general 2-4 Party Poker question, am I doing something wrong?

I've recently built my bankroll to just over $1000, so I decided to move up from 1/2 to 2/4 at Party. In just over a week I'm up another $400, but I do realize I'm on a good run so I'm not overconfident (unfortunately I know that a bad swing will come sooner or later) and am still trying to fix holes in my game. Anyway here's something I've noticed over the last week and a half playing at these limits, I've seen players continually limp with AK and AQ, both suited and unsuited, time after time after time. And these aren't the same couple of players, as I keep copious notes, it seems no matter what table I'm at, I witness it at least once or twice a session. I'm trying to figure out if this is somehow a more profitable play at this limit, than it was at .5/1? Or are these players just trying to be "too fancy" with their play? I have a hard time believing these players are too passive to raise preflop with these hands, especially considering I rarely observed this at .5/1 and 1/2.

You will see bad play at all limits. This is just another example.

With AKs its ok to limp part of the time(prehaps 1/3). With AQs its ok to limp occasionally(perhaps 5-10%). You do this to throw your more observant opponets off.

Some will say that you should raise with them all the time because your opposition is a bunch of mindless, unobservant poker drones. However, keep in mind that most of the major poker sites have a notes function because its a very popular feature. Don't presume you are the only one who keeps copious notes.

Stu,

I can't limp with it. It's against my religion.

Doesn't Sklansky say somewhere that doing this is a crime against humanity?

HFAPs advocates limping 1/3 of the time with AKs,AQs,AJs, and KQs from early position(pg.22). This is in tight games where your opponents respect your raises.

Now, one could argue it is a Crime Against Humanity to make the limp in a typical party 2-4 game, However it certainly is an accepted line of play at other online tables.

I do it about 10% of the time ... always with the intention of limp-reraising because I think its cool.
