Default Final table seating arrangement

Was just playing a 2 table S&G at stars and noticed they just fill in the remaining players to the other table instead of coming up with new seating arrangement.

Seems to me it would be more fair to come up with new seating for the final table.

How is it done in regular multis at stars (i've never made a final talbe )?

I'm 99% sure they redo seating for final table at UB.

Stars multi's done like their SNG's

You are also right about UB.

B+Ms tend to redraw for final tables, but not always.

I am pretty sure they do this so that they make the positioning of the blinds as fair as possible. If you just paid the bb on your table and get moved to the new one you are the furthest from getting it again, and so on down the line.

What about the folks who come from the other table? Seems the fairest thing would be to redraw so everyone has equal chance of getting the blind next.
