Group to sue Forest Service over firefighting practices

Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics will file suit in US District Court, Missoula on Tues. demanding the agency formally and publicly evaluate the environmental and social effects of wildland firefighting.

I think this is long overdue and I hope a sound policy will be developed as a result.

as it stands now their policy is to do the bidding of the lumber industry and spend their fire money on protecting the interests of the insurance industry. with the current administration nothing will change.
