Default Yo Yo effect..

Here I am again $600 in my party account.

According to Mr.Malmuth I have enough of a bankroll for $1/2.

But Party seems to like the 6 max tables at this level, and thus the 10 handed tables seem kind of tight.

I've tried to skip 1/2 before and had abad session at 2/4 which was enough too send me back to .50/1.00.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Robert

myself I dont go by any of those silly books. I make my own rules. Myself $600 is plenty enough to play 2/4 and 3/6 games but thats it my own book

I wouldn't listen to silly people that don't read silly books. My goat says 1-2 and pay attention to table selection. If a very juicy 2-4 comes open you may want to take a crack at those individual occurences as well.

By the way my mastedon would be happy to show the impotance of books if need be!

go fot the 2-4. Games are too easy for you to lose the 600. Just make sure you play SUPER tight at least at first.

My suggestion is to grind out 1/2 until you have the required bankroll for 2/4 before you make the jump. I went through .50/1, 1/2, 2/4, and now 3/6 by following the 300BB rule and believe it was well worth it. The opponents you will face get progressively tougher and trickier at each level.

The mere fact that you are aware of what the recommended bankroll requirements are at each level could cause you to play scared at 2/4 -- subtle psychological effect.

Just find a table with a big avg pot size to avoid being on a tight table. After about 8 or 9pm at night all the crazies come out.
