Propoker
I have had a promo proposition from propoker to open an account with Visa and receive 100 percent added.
Has anybody some experience with this site and their promos, are they thrustfull, how is the cashout, the software looks good to me, and there are everyday almost some 100 players playing at different limits and they say also they pay the high limit players 300 dollars for 10 hours of play. This looks interesting to me. Is there somewone with experience on that site and with their promos. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Propoker
Search the archives back over the last year for further details on Propoker. The general consensus is that Propoker is crooked (viz. the numerous other players are mostly bots and/or are insiders that can see your hole cards and/or know what board cards are coming) and that the promotions really are too good to be true. I would not touch unless using something considerably longer than a bargepole.

Re: Propoker
Check the archives.
DO NOT PLAY AT PROPOKER. Why would they offer such a bonus, btw? Do you think it's because... ...THEY KNOW YOU'RE LEAVING IT THERE??!! Of course it is. This site is totally crooked. |

Re: Propoker
This reads EXACTLY like a spam post. I would bet my best cowboy boots that it is. Other wannabe spammers should take a lesson from it.
I doubt if there is an internet poker player in the world that has spent ten minutes looking at the play of the games at Propoker, especially the higher limit games, that believes the games are legitimate. If any other newbies are taken in by this spam post or if they receive e-mails from Pro, I beg them to search the archives here before they invest any money. If they come up with ONE other pro-Pro post (other than by a "stranger" with only one post to his name, never to be heard of again), please copy/paste it here. |

Re: Propoker
Thanks for the advice.
I wont invest any money and had seen a publicity for the site at the magasine Poker in Europe august 2003, in that advertisement of a full page stood also licensed and regulated KAHNAWAKE gaming commission. Poker in Europe is believed to be a very serieus magasine. Further was this a honest post from me a pokerplayer from belgium playing mostly at Paradise Poker over 6000 hours. Thanks to all for the good advise. |

Assuming you mean Poker Europa, you will notice that the same few names that are friends of the publisher are mentioned in each issue. It is a giant publicity stunt for certain people to make a fast buck. Lori |

Re: Propoker
Dang. Did I just lose my best cowboy boots?
I look forward to reading many more posts from you about many other subjects. Welcome to the forum. (By the way, watch the Pro games for a while. Then write to Poker Europa and ask them why a reputable magazine like theirs would take advertisements from Pro. And while you're at it, ask them what Kahnawake regulation of any site does for the internet poker player, and why they bother to mention it as some sort of pseudo-recommendation of a site. Publish their reply here - I am positive we will all be interested to read your post.) |
