Default Routine Fold?

Very loose very passive $4-$8 game at the Trop in AC.

Not much preflop raising and most hands have gone to the river muli way. The only thing predictable about the players is that they play unpredictable.

I raise 2 limpers from middle early position with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I get two callers and the limpers also call. 5 of us see the flop.

Flop 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet I get 3 callers.

Turn 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG bets, one of the limper calls and action to me.

Now what?

Michael

Default Results

I folded, I figured someone had an Ace someone had a nine and someone could have clubs.

Turns out I would have finished a distant last.

Under the gun limped with 69 off and flopped a boat

The player ahead of me had AJ offsuit

The button had A 8

Yes, this is an easy fold. These passive players are very predictable.

Example from last night's 5/10:

Flop: K73 two spades

Passive player bets out, ok player calls.

Turn: 3o

Passive player bets out, ok player riases, passive calls.

River: 5o

Passive player bets out, ok player raises, passive calls. (and I'm sitting there saying...wtf passive has 7's full of 3s and ok player as As3s)

Sure enough I was right on the money.

Fold. Even without a caller in between you and UTG I think you have a fold, assuming UTG is passive and/or non-tricky.

In the game you described I think you made a good fold.
