late Tournament decision
I can'nt make up my mind on this hand.
Situation down to the last 11 of NLHE Tournament. I am in the money but well short of anything worthwhile. Blinds are 10,000 & 5,000 most of the chips are on the other table and all 5 players on mine have stack sizes between 40,000 & 100,000. Hence all the action is preflop with all-in moves being the order of the day. I'm in the BB with A J . I have 39,000 left after posting the BB. UTG moves all-in. He is the shortest stack and the raise is 33,000. I have been playing with him for the best part of 5 hours and he has been playing a really solid game. However he is at the point in the tournament where has to make a move sooner rather than latter. Call or fold ? Ross |

Re: late Tournament decision
Ross,
If the raise is to 33,000, you have an easy call. If it's 33,000 more for a total of 43,000, I would still probably call but I think it's pretty close. It all depends upon your read on how that player will shift gears and adjust to a shorthanded, shortstacked game. If I were him, I'd be raising with a lot of hands much worse than AJ. But that's me. |
