At the Taj this past Sunday. There is some hold up with the NJSGC about the 10K super satellites. The Satellite desk wouldn't elaborate.

I was at the Taj on 7/26 and both single table satellites and supers were running. The single table sats had sign up sheets for different events (hold em, omaha, stud) and different buy-ins. The poker room only seemed to be allotting one table for the single table satellites. Although all lists had names, the satellite that got started was haphazard. The game that got running depended on who was standing nearby the sign-up table and what they were interested in playing. When I arrived around 7:30 pm there were 2 open seats for a $300 no-limit satellite. After that finished a $1,000 no-limit started up. They're running pretty much around the clock so long as there are people who want to play. Also, at around 7:00 pm a super-satellite for a stud event also went underway. Didn't see any info on a $10k super but I may have just missed seeing it. Both the $300 and $1000 satellite started with 300 in chips--fast moving action.

They really pissed me off this past weekend. Saturday the sheets went out at noon. by 12:45 there were 18 names on the list for the $500 NLHE. I left at 4:30 and they still hadnt called it. I miss Foxwoods where they were so organized...... walk up- sign up- sit down- wait for table to fill- play.
