How do you play the following offusit hands KJ, QJ, JT, AT, KT and QT pre-flop?
I think these hands are quite marginal to begin with. So, how do you play the following offsuit hands pre-flop? Do I treat them as big cards or big X-gapped connectors? Would I play them heads-up? Multi-way?

If you folded them everytime except when it was folded to you in late position, and then you raised with them, you wouldn't be giving up that much. They're all very marginal. About the only other times I play them are: limping in LP after several weak limpers (who play too many hands), raising to isolate a weak limper (again in LP), reraising to isolate a maniac (and some of these hands aren't even good enough for that).

Re: How do you play the following offusit hands KJ, QJ, JT, AT, KT and QT pre-flop?
At a full table, I consider it a good omen when I see my opponents playing random broadway cards, expecially from EP or in a raised pot.
So I fold them not only because they're weak hands, but also because being seen playing them bad for my mojo. It's like spilling blood in the water. And if blood is in the water, you can forget about being first in with a potentially fun hand like 77. A shark will try to isolate you if you limp, and you won't be able to steal or get it heads-up if you raise. I even fold random broadway cards in LP (unless it's just me against the blinds). Calling with QTo to punish the guy who called but should have raised or raising with KTo to isolate the lady who called but should have folded is sorta like trying to administer a beating with a nerf toy. |

I fold, unless I am open-raising from cutoff or button or isolating a weak-limper from LP with ATo or KJo

Re: How do you play the following offusit hands KJ, QJ, JT, AT, KT and QT pre-flop?
First off none of these hands play well multiway.
KT, QT and JT I would call with against loose passive players in short-handed situations (max of five players seeing the flop, *maybe* six if you are on cutoff or button), only raise from cutoff or button when you are the opener. AT, KJ, and QJ can stand a few more players imo (I even open-limp from EP with these in my weaker moments against loose-passives, but itīs not particularly good poker), I also raise with these in LP against one, maybe two limpers. Fold all of them against a raise unless the raiser is loose or a maniac and the field is passive, then you could maybe call with KT, QT, JT or even raise with AT, KJ, QJ. (Note that these plays are somewhat loose however). |

I think that you can fold all of these, unless you are in position to steal the blinds. In early position, for sure, all of these hands are poison.
