Default Rip this Boz

Should I have seen the river? I see 6 outs to improve but not strong enough to bet.

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 folds, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls, 5 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 calls, SB folds, BB folds.

Turn: (3.00 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 4.00 BB.

I'm not Boz, but I don't you think you need to see a river. Your 6 outs may not even be good.

Full ring? UTG+1? JTo? Fold preflop. Then fold again on the flop. Then fold for a third time on the turn.

Edit: what you're supposed to do is raise this preflop, bet every street, win with a rivered straight and complain about how weak-tight we all are.

JTo in UTG+1 with no reads at a 10-handed table? Muck. I also don't understand why you'd be betting this flop.

As to whether you should have seen the river, I don't think you should've seen either of the other two streets, and the turned 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] doesn't improve your hand in any way that I can see, so I guess that answers your question.

What's your VPIP these days, Buc?

I have to go with the other comments. Why did you call preflop? Would you really feel safe if someone behind you raised? And why raise the flop? 3 ohter players and you raise stone cold, nah I don't like it. Vs 1 other, fine but not 3, that rarely ever works.

Oh and don't see the river. I don't think you have 6 outs.
