Did I play this right??
Last weekend I was playing inn the following game, and this hand almost tilted me for the remainder of the night. I cant figure out if I played it right:
2/4 Limit cash game, blinds 1/2, 5 players. Reads: Utg - solid player, chases a bit, bluffs alot. Cutoff - new player to me, turns out to be a really solid player. MP1 and MP2 don't factor in. Action: Me - Qh Qd On the button Calls all around, BB Checks Flop - Ad 10c Qc Checks around to me and I raise $10 (a pretty standard raise for me with these cards, in this game.) everyone calls. Turn - Kc Utg - $10 MP1-Fold, MP2-fold, cutoff calls, I raise $10, thinking at this point I should be able to pump up the pot a bit and make some money with this hand Utg and cut off call. RIVER - As utg bets $10, cutoff calls I raise $15, to cap the pot and UTG folds, cutoff calls, we flip and he has... you guessed it.... Jc 9c I'm thinking I should have capped the pot post-flop, but it felt like I played the hand correctly, or did I? Ritchie Z _________________ |
