KK on paired flop...NL25
Villian is my nemisis...LAG preflop, straightforward passive post (tends to check and call with anything reasonable and somethings not so reasonable, likes to slowplay monsters and let you do the betting, etc).
We've had three major confrontations during the session, all three I had position...two overpair vs. flopped set where he check/called as I blew through my stack on the third I flopped a set, he turned a flush (where he c/r'ed me on the turn and I called getting proper odds). I feel like an uber tool at this point and he has me sorta steaming (it's pathetic to quote rounders but I feel like KGB...check, check, check...YOU TRAPPED ME!!!). Sigh... Now I get to play a hand OOP...yay! Reason for posting the hand (other than getting to complain about my bad beats ) is my turn action. I think I should've just pushed and get ready to kill myself if he has a six...as played I think it's clear I'm gunshy and played it like a wuss. Wondering what you guys think. EDITD TO ADD: He'll pay off a turn push with a Queen. Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
Just one bump...I realize it's a semi-worthless thread, but I am curious about the turn decision.
Thanks, J |

Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
standard!
.edit id probably make the the turn 2/3 or 3/4 pot sized. |

Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
No draws and you have two pair. I think you played it fine.

Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
After he called the flop why not make a 1xpot or 3/4 against what you have said is a calling station?

Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
I'd play this the same way, but I'd probably bet about $14-pot size bet on the turn.

Re: KK on paired flop...NL25
Heres to hoping you stacked him and his passive ways. Maybe a little more on the turn, as you said, hes a caller. On that river, all-in works, and works well.
