Show me the way to the next whiskey bar.
$10-$20 at the Borgata, It’s getting late and Tyler, a friend(2p2 Lurker), and Myself are doing shots of Tequilla and Jack Daniels at the table. There is a couple of people joining us including the girl who was in this hand.
I open raise from middle position with KcQc, 2p2L calls, Girl Calls, BB calls. Flop is A85(Ace of clubs). I bet, 2p2L calls, Girl Calls, BB folds. Turn is Jack, putting up a heart flush draw. I bet, only the girl calls. River is an apparent off-suit brick. I bet and drag. Did I take this Big Slick representation too far? Should I have given up on the Turn? Could my nut-no-pair have been good? Comments on all streets appreciated, Huh |

Re: Show me the way to the next whiskey bar.
I think every street was fine. Did you consider check raising the turn? Do they allow that at that new fangled place? I think betting the river is mandatory so that you don't have to split the pot, but the real question is this; Who is this girl that was playing poker and doing shots in the middle of the night?

Wow, I am honored to induce a post from the reclusive snoman....I think he plays poker every now and then...
Didn't really talk to her much. Her attractiveness level was definately raised by the fact that she was playing $10-$20 and was doing shots, but I felt a "Bare Exposure" vibe in the air...The NJ folk will know what I'm talking about. -Huh |
