Agressive play - Define it.
How would you describe agressive play?
Is it raising with 32o in early? Is it raising not matter what you have? Is it check-raising on every street? Is it just throwing a lot of money in a pot with the hopes of scaring people away? What is agression when it comes to poker? |

Re: Agressive play - Define it.
Technically, those are "aggressive" plays. However, winning poker requires you to be both "tight" and "aggressive" - and that is something that is missing in the above examples.

Re: Agressive play - Define it.
Don't get too caught up on semantics. Don't worry about what being "aggressive" means. Worry about making +EV plays. Most of the time this means doing more betting an raising than checking and calling. Sometimes it does not.
