I don't need to be the Champ

I don't post too often, but I follow the threads on most of the forums here. Whatever free time I have left after family, work, etc., I like to play poker.

Like many of you I've studied and played, but I never had a bankroll or kept records, until this year. I began the year with $400 and played the microlimits. After winning some $, I moved some of it to PokerStars and began playing various tourneys.

As of this moment my BR = $2348, and that is after cashing out $500 over the course of the year. I'm hoping to have a BR of $4000 by the end of the year.

Many would say that I have the BR to play higher limits than I do. My usual limit currently is 2-4 and I play $11 tourneys. Occasionally I play a bit higher if the game looks right. Sometimes I play lower.

I know I will be playing poker for a long time. So I sing a long, slow tune. I don't need to be the Champ. I'll let Onlinechamp keep the title.

Good post Augie. The fact that the Champ has a cloud over his/her head wrt UB and possibly other sites also makes me not want to follow his/her footsteps.
