Default Monster pot, TPTK

This is about my 2nd hand on the table, but i sat down at the table as the average VP$IP is ~70. Therefore im assuming villians are loose and probably passive.

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, Hero caps, SB calls, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Flop: (21 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, UTG folds, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, MP calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (16.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, MP calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (20.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, MP folds, CO calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 23.50 BB

I capped preflop due to the dead money being put in by UTG, MP and CO. My standard play here is to call the preflop 3-bet.

I wasnt sure what to do postflop as my position relative to the flop bettor was [censored], therefore i couldnt see any way to protect my hand.
Would it have been better to call the flop bet and raise the turn, hoping the SB 3-bets?

Well i'm not folding, But i dont like a few things.

Capping, you assuming hes loose/passive.

I tend to assume nothing vs unknown and try to get to know him.

After the turn bet i don't see us winning this often specially as you capped and he continues to not be bothered by the queen and callers.

I think you played it the only way possibly and to raise is probably worse.

Sure - hand protection, but you also kill a bluff and get 3bet(And will you fold TPTK after raising and being 3betted on flop or turn or river? )

NH, AA - KK/QQ ? psycho with JJ/TT or AQ split? meh

What does it mean when a passive villain bets into the field (or even bets into you) after you capped preflop? I don't think I'm raising the flop.

Yeah i dont think the flop raise was a good idea. So are you recommending calling down unimproved?

Call him down. Hope that the assumed read was wrong. See AA. Go on to the next hand.
