$55: KQo early, OOP and mulitway
Meh. I hate this hand and I felt lost, which is rare for me, so I'm posting it. It's not necessarily that interesting, just a hand I donked up and can learn from.
It's Thanksgiving when I played this, so lots of unknowns drunk off of turkey and whatnot. No reads. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx UTG (t885) UTG+1 (t1000) UTG+2 (t885) MP1 (t1000) MP2 (t1490) MP3 (t1000) CO (t925) Button (t945) Hero (t985) BB (t885) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls t15, UTG+2 calls t15, 1 fold, MP2 calls t15, 1 fold, CO calls t15, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks. Weak-sauce. 2) I almost timed out after the flop min-check raise because it is such a f'n donk move that I hated it and wanted to push so badly, and the player was an unknown, i.e. probably not good. So I... called???? Hmm. 3) I planned on pushing the turn, but the Ace scrred me. So I check/folded. |

Re: $55: KQo early, OOP and mulitway
I would probably lead out here, and fold to a raise. I would proceed very cautiously if called...
I think check/calling a bet from LP seems alright, but probably not your best option. However, I'm turbo-mucking to the minraise on the flop. |

I suspect there's something wrong with this line but what it is escapes me at the moment because I think i play this the same most of the time.
I hate f..king KQ. |

But I do like your flop line. I think I fold to the minraise, not because I necessarily think he has us beat, but between the 3 of them, and the heat I need to take on the turn with a mediocre hand, I wait for a better spot. It's one of those, I'm maybe folding the best hand, but it makes sense given the situation. Looking back, I think this hand may be too amorphous to get a "good" line.
