Default Overplaying AQ?

10/20 6 max

UTG raises, Button calls and I call w/ A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in SB. BB calls.

8sb 4-way
flop is
4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check raise UTG who 3 bets. Is check raising a turn brick overplaying my hand?

Say turn is 3 way. Feel free to choose if the 3rd player is the BB or the button.

Default Re: Overplaying AQ?

If you underrepresent the strength of your hand, don't be surprised when opponents act on that information. Go for the turn c/r.

EDIT: Whoops, just saw UTG raised pf. That changes things, but I still don't put him on AA-QQ, so it comes down to putting 2 bets in on the turn (folding to 3bet) or using those 2 to call down. I think I still like the turn c/r, but I suck at poker.
