Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
So, im pretty short stacked at this table. Don't know much about the villain. Im thinking my biggest mistake is not raising the turn more. Is the river call awfull? how often does villain hold the flush here?

Re: Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
I think I'd play it much like you did. I'd never fold here.
Edit: Although often I check-raise the flop or bet/3-bet AI. |

do you think the size of my turn bet was a mistake?

Re: Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
I'm going to go against the grain here and say that your turn bet is perfect. It probably gets the most value out of hands that are drawing dead to you (almost everything but the flush draw). And since most are advocating calling the all-in anyway, the implied odds you're going to be giving a flush draw are close in both situations.
Basically I want the weaker 1-pair hands or one-card straight draws (low end) to stick around. |

Re: Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
Raise the turn to about $4, it'll make your river decision easier. As played, I think you're fine and I'd expect to see something like A6 here.

Re: Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
Raise more on the turn. One of them is on a flush draw and if it's SB, you just made it correct for him to call and you added to roll by calling him when he hit. Raise to $6 and check/fold that turn.

At this level with two callers, one of them is chasing the flush. By paying them off when they hit it, you make it correct for them to keep on chasing it. |

Re: Nut Straight. River Completes Runner Flush
Raise flop to 2, raise turn to 5-6 and push river. If he's got the flush, reload and put him on buddy list for drawing when he's 24-1 (and the weak betting by you and the other guy helped his decision). I'm thinking it's more like he hit the A for 2 pair.
