Does "no reads" mean they have played solidly? If so, then I'm probably folding and waiting for a better spot. If "no reads" means bad NL25 player, then I'm pushing. It all depends on what you've seen them do in the 30 hands you've spent with them.

No real reads

No reads, I'd fold QQ if stacks were deeper and watch to see what villains are holding at the showdown. If one or both have less than KK, I take a note on that player for next time.

It's a little tougher here to lay down QQ because both villains only have 1/2 a buy-in. After 20 hands, you should know if they have been playing "short stack" poker where they either go all-in or limp, and that's about it. If you suspect that both are playing like this, then call. But, without a read like that, I prefer to lay down QQ to a 3-bet all-in preflop. No need to get MOH'ed down with QQ.

Ive looked this over 3 times now and I still dont know why we folded here. Im just getting into NL, but Harrington's book would never allow a play lilke this. Is it OK to push in a tourney and not push here? I just dont see how we can fold here at all with no reads. Why are we automatically assuming that they have AA or KK?

This is easy call vs short stacks.

stacks are not nearly deep enough to fold QQ

tournament yes i call. in a cash game there is much to consider such as being against ak which the first raise may have. i can pick a better spot then coin fliping for a large pot which was my reasoning for the fold, figured i had at least a coin flip with one and dominating the other person. i guess since it was only 10$ but i dont think i would do it at a higher level so its not about the amount they had. just felt like i could have gone either way with the hand
