Unethical Policy at PartyPoker - Maybe avoid tournaments
Party Poker has been having problems growing apparently. The tournament software sometimes freezes up frequently. This is perhaps understandable given their growing pains. Unfortunately their policy is to continue the tournament the next day at the same time. Not too bad of a way of dealing with it but it resulted in me getting screwed as I wasn't able to attend the next day due to having to work. I presumed since it was their mistake they would refund my money (I was way above average at this point). Nope. Was told there was nothing they could do. I'm out $160 bucks because they couldn't keep their software running.
Is it just me or does this policy SUCK? |

Re: Unethical Policy at PartyPoker - Maybe avoid tournaments
The policy sucks, that's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. If their software freezes, they should chop all those entries from the eliminated players in with refunding the remaining players buy-ins.

Re: Unethical Policy at PartyPoker - Maybe avoid tournaments
I have been in a tournament that was cancelled with me and three others left. After writing down all the specifics and emailing everyone I could think of (including Mike Sexton) they finally paid me. I received 1/4 of the the pool and my entry fee back. Here is their reply msg:
