Default Top set on dangerous board - Party 5/10 6max

Big stack Villain is very loose his preflop call may be almost anything, second villain is solid TAG.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

saw flop|saw showdown

Button ($3293)
SB ($902.50)
BB ($1624.25)
UTG ($1249.50)
Hero ($1040.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5.
1 fold, Hero raises to $35, Button calls $35, SB (poster) calls $30, 1 fold.

Flop: ($115) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $75, Button calls $75, SB calls $75.

Turn: ($340) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks

Now, this 8 is scarey card cause it completes one straight (109). I have a dillema here. If I check and call I can lose action from 2pair, lower set, flush draw or even TP if scary (flush card) hit the river. On the other hand if Villain in fact has 109 Iam pretty sure he wont charge enough and I would draw to my fullhouse almost for free.

What's my plan here and on the river ?

Best wishes

lets say you check, villain bets 250 and u call. Are you trying to imply that you would check/fold if the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] hit the river? Check w/ the intention or c/ring allin, or bet, and push almost any (depending how many callers) river. If villain will call almost anything cant he have KT,AT, x [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]?

Almost half the crads that could come off the turn are scary. 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] isnt nearly the worst of them. I like betting 300 and going from there.

betting 75 on that flop is awful.
your weak/tight view of poker is not good...

That's a problem here. If blank hit the river I can still easily stack 2pair/set but I will still loose to str8 while trying this. So your opinion is not to worry and charge , right ?

I'm potting it on the flop 100% of the time...I think your flop bet was way too weak.

Turn card completes one draw and there is another more dangerous one on the board. I don't think you can afford to allow a freebie coming off here. I'd have potted the flop, and probably do the same on the turn. If the solid player moves in, I'll consider folding. If the loose guy moves in - unless he's loose passive - I'll almost always call it.

I dont usually bet 75. I did this time, c'mon it doesnt matter much here. Villain call 115 and 75 with the same hands and its only 40$ diffrence. I know that psb might be better but its not that important here really.

i stik it in as quik as i think i can w/o losing villain(s). Lots of cards kill your (hand)/(action). If you had 3k behind you could practice some pot control... Im very happy to go broke here w/ 88 on the turn, let alone QQ. Raised pot, 100bbs behind.

Pot flop, pot turn,
This is the easy part of poker.
That 8 is not a bad card at all,
something like Kc would be a bad card!

you put in 115 instead of 75 here, thats an extra 120 in the pot

pot then is 460 on the turn and you have like 900 left

throw in 450 on the turn for another pot-sized, or even a little less like 400 if you want and you can just stick it in on the river
