Sorry for ruining some of your folks' Sunday NFL picks. I'm apparently the biggest jinx in history when i decide to lay a bet.

I couldn't get away from SD (-6.5) against a horrid Jets team. Of course, Brooks Bollinger has the drive of his life, converting a 20-yard pass on 3rd and 18 and cutting their deficit to 5. Of course on the final drive, they can't even get the ball in after a 1st and goal from the 3 yard line but it didn't matter by then.

And yeah it was me who put money down on the Rams to beat the 49ers on opening day. Five 49ers losses later, I finally decided to try my luck again and put it on the Bucs vs. SF last week and you all know how that turned out.

I think i'll just call it quits for good.
