Six Max vs Full Table

Generally speaking, do pro's play the six max tables or the full tables while online? If you have a lot of loose players is it better to play full table (and make their loose play a bigger mistake) or six max (and get more hands in)? Any books/articles people can reccommend for 6 max? I'm talking Hold Em here. Thanks.

I would think that the more full-skilled pros like the short tables along with the action players. yum-yum

Most winning players that get most of earn from having better starting hands, as oppossed to out-playing folks post-flop, like the ring games that have more passive calling players. yum-yum again.

The earn is higher in the short games, but the swings are larger, also the cost of the learning curve frightens many away. IMO

Any of the good books with sections on short handed play should be fine, tho there is no specific book all just about that subject.

Paradise has 5 max hold'em tables.

I think whether to play 6 max, 5 max, or full tables is a matter of taste more than a matter of profitability. I tend to do better at full tables, even though I like playing shorthanded too. Unless you're going to the higher limits, I wouldn't worry that much about which type of table the pros are more likely to be found at. I suppose at high limits, full tables are more likely to have a fish or two than short ones.
