Default when to let go with mid pair....

Should I have done so earlier?
After looking over the hand the flop c/r doesnt seem right. Since he capped pf I want him to continue to bluff with over cards, but if he has an overpair the c/r does nothing but give him an extra 2 bets. My logic correct?

Meteron. Can you give me your overplan? Is this a check call, check/call, donk situation (ignoring the actually turn and river cards in this hand I mean)? Would you consider calling the flop and c/r an inocuous turn?

Sorry, I can't spell.

I don't like the flop c/r because on that board, you stand to get 3bet by AK sometimes. I would lean towards c/c'ing the flop. Turn is where the poker will start. Reads are important. Some people will check their AK behind here. Some will keep on firing. If he checks behind, you should donk/fold a non A or K turn (in which case I'd probably just c/f). If he'll keep firing, you can consider a c/r/f on a safe card.

This is an easy c/c flop, with as has been said, any actual playing of poker occuring on the turn/river. The turn is crappy too, so I'm inclined to include a line that could let me fold here.

If the turn and river were like 2 3, I would probably go to showdown regardless here.
