I\'ve been getting emotional lately
I've been getting pretty emotional at the tables lately, seething with hatred at the people who check-raise me or reraise me, or who use stop-n-go's, or bet into me after I check to them. It really pisses me off! I feel as if they are just trying to mess with me, or play back at me.
I usually take the role of 'table boss' by being a bit LAGGY, and I feel the pots that I raise preflop belong to ME and ME ALONE, so if anyone starts playing back at me, I take it personally, ha! I'm not really sure what to do about this or how to deal with it... anyone else go through some phase like this or anything? I'd post this in psychology but I'm worried the people who post there don't play NL. |

I get this way sometimes too. It's bad. I'd recommend stealing someone elses pot to compensate.

Re: I\'ve been getting emotional lately
this happens alot -frustration when you are in less than stellar games. Ie when everyone is limp-reraising in early position.
My advice would be to be more game selective or work on your patience. If you tilt at all in no limit it is tough to be better than a marginal winner. Get in better games.. If you want to bully people and mix it up play 6MAX ..maybe thats where you should be if you arent there already. |

Re: I\'ve been getting emotional lately
This is very dangereous.
Leave the table if you get some of these feelings against a specific guy (esp. if you play 6-max). If you just get this feelings on regular basis regardless of the opponent I don't know what to do about it. |
