Default OT .......IQ tests?

This probably belongs in the hodge podge forum but this is my home.

Does anyone know of any good websites where you can get a relatively accurate test for an IQ score?

Thanks

I tried taking the ones I found at the top of the search results but they are too easy I think. I'm a smart guy but I was having no trouble getting almost the max score (like extremely gifted genius) So don't give urself too much credit if you score unreasonably high.
Do you think a high IQ has a direct corilation to the earnings potential of a poker player? Sometimes I think that playing 10 person tables (online) is something that requires little intellect and only requires patience so that you play tighter then your opponents.
I only play 5 pple or less though and preffer heads up to everything else.

IQ tests generally measures only a few aptitudes, vocab, math, logic, spatial.
Many important things are not measured, like
interpersonal aptitude(reading ppl, leading, motivating),
creativity(generating new ideas),
emotional maturity(handling tilt, frustration, preserverance).

IQ test scores are correlated with academic achievements for the obvious reasons, they measure skills for calculating, reading, writing, etc.
Academic achievements then causes higher salary job options.
While the other factors are not given as much credit.
I think the other "smartness" are at least as important as high IQ for high productivity.

Further, the IQ tests is very shallow, it measures processing speed more than capacity, it consists of simple questions which you must solve as fast as possible, one reason why the reknown physicist Richard Feynman can never score high enough to join Mensa even though he obviously had high capacity.

The test is also culturally bias, it test for knowledge which requires exposure to a certain environment. 1 reason why ethnic immigrants will score lower than their true score.

Fishy's close. But, IQ tests (real ones, like the WAIS-III, the current industry standard), measure your capacity to learn and not knowledge acquired.

There are a wide variety of tests, but the WAIS-III is the current standard as far as psychologists and psychiatrists are concerned. They do test a variety of areas and each sub-score means something.

The WAIS yields three IQ scores, performance, Verbal and Full Scale. Generally a score of 100 is considered average. In order to be a MENSA member, your IQ neeeds to be 130 plus on a professionally adminstered test, they have a list at their website.

Generally, the tests you can take online for free are not terribly reliable, but the one that has been recommended to me by some co-workers, who are PhD's is this one, it should give you a ballpark estimate:

This is what my friend, who's obsessed by IQ tests, had to say:

good purely logical ones on http://nicologic.free.fr/index.htm
and if he's feeling ambitious, http://www.eskimo.com/~miyaguch/titan.html or anything else by hoeflin on http://www.eskimo.com/~miyaguch/hoeflin.html are the mummy, daddy, brother, sister, and pet dog of iq tests.
