In. tough luck on the rebuys so far. Out in a terrible beat on the 5.5r that would have made me close to chipleader, then out in 45 in the 11r with AK against AA.

This one gotta be better.

Off to a quick start. 20k.

Default How do you play an early big stack?

I got 30k, lots of money at the table. How much do I tighten up here? 30k will be a nice figure to end the hour with and most of the table can cripple me.

Default What stack size do you slow down at?

At 6k I ease off a little, but am still willing to gamble. At 10k I ease off a lot. Anyone else?

Just sit and wait for AA-TT, AK and nail junk-pushers.

Alternatively you can try limping a lot with trash and hitting a monster, but it sounds like there's no limping allowed at your table.

Can I move there, btw?

about your question tho, 6k is too low. I slow down around 10k.

Hah well I was debating to myself the wisdom of calling a donk push with AJs and a 6k stack. (Donk had 4k)

The debate didn't last long. Easy call. But I started wondering in general.
