Default KK

Villain was unkwown at the time.

Should I have been less aggressive after his Turn-raise?

I think you can check/call the river. I think you are behind AA or QQ > 50% of the time here.

Against an unknown's 3-betting range your ahead of exactly JJ, AK and maybe AQ i doubt he raises the turn with any of those hands maybe AQ. Call down after the turn raise.

Since I was aggressive from preflop on he didn't know if I had a pair or higher yet. I thought there was a good chance he just thought I had something like AK (him having something like a pair of queens).

I want to see a showdown incase he is playing AQ or JJ this way. The best way to do it is check/call teh river.
I don't like teh river bet b/c you should bet/fold and I don't think I could fold.

so check

you only want him to call though right? if you get raised there your hand doesn’t look very good. so are there hands that he raised the turn that won’t bet the river? not many (if any), so you get the same effect as him calling your bet when you check and call his bet.

Another good thing about checking is that he'll often get scared of the 4-straight and check behind with his AA or set and save you a bet (even though it makes no sense to put you on an 8).
