Default Those wacky low limit players...

Online $1/$2. UTG limps, it's folded to me in the cutoff and I raise with KJo. The big blind and the limper call.

The flop comes K43 rainbow. BB checks, UTG bets, I raise, BB folds, UTG calls. I didn't even really think twice about this raise at the time. It's possible that I was beaten by, for example, KQ, but that's about it. And even if my opponent has KQ, I probably won't be raised, so I'll lose at most this one extra SB. Does anyone play this differently?

The turn brings another 3, putting two spades on the board. UTG bets, I just call. Should I have raised?

The river brings an offsuit A. UTG checks, I check behind thiking that only hands that have me beat will call. Should I have bet?

I would raise the turn. It's pretty likely that you're ahead. If you get 3-bet you can safely throw it away.
