Default River pairs board.

Another hand for review.

$2/$5 NL Live Game

Effective stacks $700.

Opponent is average. Nothing spectacular.

LP Limps. Hero is in BB with 68s raises to $15. (I don't do this often at this game, its mostly to mix up my overall strategy. Their overall view is that I'm pretty tight. Table's view of me is pretty tight during this session). LP calls.

3 5 7 rainbow.

Hero bets $20. LP calls.

Turn is a 9 completing rainbow.

Hero bets $80. Villan thinks for a bit and calls.

River is a 3.

Hero bets $200. Villan goes all-in.

Hero?

Hero tries to call twice. Of course you are worried about the boat here, but he knows that and is trying to move you off your hand. Either that or he made you for an overpair and wants to use the river scare card to take down the pot. You are already $300+ into the pot so that leaves about a $400 call for a $1500 pot. 4ish:1 on a hand that he could never make you on.
