Default NL 400/ turn decision with AK

Normal loose passive NL 400/6 max game.

I have 400ish/ unknown villain covers

Villain mini raises utg, i make it 25 to go with AK from the hijack. Folds around villain calls.

Flop AT7 rainbow: (56) Villain checks / I bet 40, he calls.

Turn 6 completing the rainbow: (136) Villain checks, I bet 100, he puts me all in for my last 225. I... (other than wishing I checked behind)

So yeah I dont know how to excersize pot control... thoughts on the hand?

He probably has a set. You probably should fold. I probably would call.

You fold and comment him on how kind the flop was to him :P

I'm not really sure what else you could have done...AK out of position gets dominated when the other guy hits a bigger hand, and you hit as well. Its hard to know when you're ahead...he checked called once, and check raised on the turn...I don't think you can call this. He hit his set, or at the very least his A10 (who knows if he'd call the raise with this though). Either way, fold and try and recoup I guess.
