K-Qs preflop dilemma
$1-$2 Hero is SB with K-Qs, MP has been tight passive preflop and fairly aggro post. MP2 has been very aggressive with a 20% pre flop raising rate, and aggro on flop too.
MP limps, MP+1 raises, hero calls, MP 3 bets, MP+1 caps, hero calls Flop: K 7, 2 rainbow(no backdoor available). Hero checks (planning a check-raise from a single bet), MP bets, MP+1 raises, hero folds. My main question is what should I be doing preflop? 3 bet the first bet? Should I be folding after the initial cold-call once it’s been re-re-raised? Also how is the flop fold? |

Re: K-Qs preflop dilemma
This is a tricky situation since the flop looks favorable at first. However, the preflop cap indicates that you may be up against AA or KK. You are actually better off against AA since a K or Q would put you in the lead. I think that your fold was a wise move.
