Honest question
At what point do you give up trying to be a decent winner at SH play? 35k hands? 50k hands?
i've really only played SH for any significant amount of hands and am considering packing it in. 30k stretches of .4bb/100 suck pretty hard. |

Re: Honest question
It's gotten worse lately and i think i might be running a little bad. I did well at 1/2 short over 3bb winrate. Now, almost break even at 2/4 and 3/6 over 35k hands or so.
I am not sure wtf is going on. How do you start over? I am getting totally owned my last 20k hands by the worst players i have ever seen. |

Re: Honest question
20k, or 30k is really nothing. I've had breakeven streaks like that. Some of the best 10/20 players have had much longer streaks...the lower your winrate the more frequently you'll have such streaks. IF you continue to read books and study 2+2 your winrate will steadily rise, no matter what Poker Tracker tells you. Stick with it.

Re: Honest question
I'm trying ot improve my game. I am trying to get HH exchanges togehter but they usually last one session. I wonder if a coach would be worth the money at my limit?

Re: Honest question
I think coaching is a good idea. I've come to realize that playing SH may not be for everyone. The swings are sharp and brutal.

Re: Honest question
I am used to the swings. It's the never making any money part that's getting to me.

Re: Honest question
Im a 2bb winner... however, with just over 40k hands this month, at all limits (3/6 - 20/40) Im at a dismal .68 BB/100... [censored] happens, keep it together, you'll likely pull through.
