Default A hand QTip and I have been discussing

This hand is from the mid/high forum and I'd like to hear some thoguhts from the SS crowd.

[ QUOTE ]

I was in a hand last night, UB 30-60, I think it was 6 or 7-handed. Tight but otherwise unknown player opens, I 3bet on the button with TT, fish calls in BB, opener caps, we call.

Flop is 9 high raggy. Check; bet; I raise; fish calls 2; opener calls.

Turn pairs the 9. Opener bets.

[/ QUOTE ]

Arguements have been made for all three options. What do you think?

fold. i don't see a tight player leading back into you on this flop with AK, unless they're capping with a lot less up at those limits and i don't think he's laying down QQ-JJ either.

Raise/fold to a 3-bet or Just fold. I think calling down is the worst of the options.

If you have a read that he is LAGish, then raising to fold out the BB, or see what the BB does, then calling down if BB folds and you get 3bet.

Since the replies haven't mentioned the fish, I'll throw out the possibility of his flopping a low set with one of the rags, as his calling 2 cold might suggest.

Just more support for the fold option.

Default Side Question

OK, a side question:

What hands (if any) would you play like the pre-flop capper here?

A lot depends on the position the tight player was in when he open raised.

Why did you 3-bet PF?

If it was heads up I would just call him down to the river and probably lose.

The fact there is a 3rd player(fish) in the pot, I would just fold the turn, he most likely has either AA KK QQ or JJ.
