Default Folding a set

I have NEVER folded a set on the flop, at least not that I can remember. However, I've been burned 4 times as of late (prev only had set over set once).

So, how many times have you folded a set? Don't think I'm good enough to fold one

I think I folded one when there was a one gap straight or four flush on the board an some action, so I was pretty sure it was no good.
But it's really hard to get away from.

fold 22 on a flop of Q72 once. But there were 3 people all in by the time it got to me. AA vs QQ vs 77.

I don't think I've ever done this. I play sets hard on any flop, even a 3-straight-flush.

I folded a set of 10s after a lot of betting on a flop of 10JQ suited.

Before you fold a set flop, barring a just real good read, usually you want the following criteria met:

1. Bottom set
2. Unraised pot
3. Lots of action in front of you
4. weak/tightes going crazy
5. not a lot of draws out

If three of the above are true, you may be ready to muck.
