Default Mid PP Multiway Gutshot

Haven't gotten many reads, except the table seems pretty loose-passive so far, hence my MP limp. Not sure I like how I played this so far, but I think I was planning to raise a safe card on the turn putting them on overcards, then figured I'd rather get more action if I hit the OESD. Not sure if that makes sense. Thoughts?

Flop call is close, but you're getting the implied odds since the turn bet doubles.

I would play it just the same. Check/fold river UI.

P.S. I hope you're not counting 6's as outs because 95% of the time someone holds an 8 here. EDIT: Plus if the 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is still out there.

That's pretty much what I was thinking.

River: (12.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)</font>
SB bets</font>, UTG calls, MP2 raises</font>, Hero ...?

3-bet. I doubt MP2 has 10-J. Maybe 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], but I doubt it.

I don't think you should 3-bet the river. Call and go for overcalls, that way you make more when you do split (cause the other players really shouldn't call). If you 3bet, sure, you'll male an extra BB off the raiser, but you'll likely lose 1 BB from each of the other 2 players. Unless one of them is likely to call 2 more to show down a loser, in that case you can 3bet.

That was my thinking as well. Once the MP2 suddenly woke up I figured him for a 6, so I saw much more value coming from getting bets from the 2 other guys than 3- betting and just getting more of his money in the pot.

That said:

...Hero calls, SB calls, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 20.50 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
SB has Jc Jh (one pair, jacks).
UTG has 8s 8d (three of a kind, eights).
MP2 has 6d Td (straight, ten high).
Hero has 6c 6s (straight, nine high).
Outcome: MP2 wins 20.50 BB. </font>
