AJ in the cutoff
Party .5 - 1.00
I'm in the cutoff with AJo $100 behind, villian has $38(34/13/2.30) I raise to $3 villian calls on the button sb folds BB calls the flop comes down Js 8d 4h I make a standard continuation type bet of $5 Villian raises to $10 BB folds I call turn is( Js 8d 4h ) Kd I decide to fire again betting $15 trying to look like the king helped me and just generally keep the pressure on. villian is all in for $25 i call for $10 more feeling I'm prabably behind but you never know... anyway it's the turn where I'm wondering what my best play was or should I have shown a bit more strength on the flop? |

Re: AJ in the cutoff
Pot the flop. And I would raise to $4 preflop. He's short stacked enough that it isn't terrible if you go broke with one pair here.

Re: AJ in the cutoff
He's pretty short (button) I'd probably just bet enough to pot commit him on the flop.
