A (stupid?) question about online cheating
Realistically speaking, what kind of cheating is there on a site like (say) Paradise other than collusion between players? (One person using two id's in the same game is the ultimate form of collusion, I guess.)

Re: A (stupid?) question about online cheating
Other than collusion (including chip dumping), there is little I know of that can go on. Waiting until you are almost out of time every move, so that you have fewer chances to get eliminated just before the bubble is not ethical, but I woudln't call it cheating. I hope I have answered your question.

I was thinking more about a ring game...
...than a tournament, but it does answer the question. I had visions of hackers cracking the code so that they could see everybody's hand as they played... the internet brings out the paranoid in everyone, I guess.
In the brick and mortar world in Vancouver, Paradise has a bit of a shady reputation in some parts. I've heard a few people say that they won lots and lots for the first couple of weeks, then lost consistently after that, suggesting that the site is cooking the hands to lure people in. But that seems too Oliver Stone for me, even when I'm off my medication.... Thanks again for your reply. 'hoof |

Re: I was thinking more about a ring game...
Paradise seems perfectly fine to me and I have p[layed there more hours than anywhere else, although not recently. I think people may do well and then bust because people tend to get sloppy, wild and basically way to loose. If you dont play your A game you are going to lose no matter what site you play at.
