This depends what you mean by "play at".

I 4-8 table, so I would have to go with NL100, but I would take shots at 200 pretty often.

I crush 200NL, 14PTBB/100 for more than 30k hands and it still growing when I sometimes 6table this level. I think its easiest money on the planet and I rarely have downswings more than 300$ there. BUT I still wouldnt risk playing with 8buyins. 10xbuyin downswing can easily happens + with bankroll this short after losing 4buyin you would be forced to move down anyway.. and you will be too short for 100NL again.
Just play 100NL, make this 3k and then take a shot at 200NL, if you really can beat 200NL it wont take too long.

Best wishes

you guys are right. I think I may do either two tables of NL100 or one and one of each.

50NL, i don't care if you can beat the higher games you couldn't handle an extremely cold streak. i'd play 50 NL until i reached 2500 then move up to 100 NL then when i win 2500 i would move up.... Just how i am as i hate losing my bankroll.

But whatever game you choose good luck and make good decisions

I think this is a good idea. Do one 200NL and one 100NL. And make an effort to pay attention mainly to the 200NL game. If you drop below $1200 then just do 2 100NL for some time.

yikes. that's abit overly conservative for my mind.

so far I've been grinding it out at NL100. alot more variance I find as you'll see people calling down with top pair on a double paired 3flush board. makes me remind myself that "plays" don't work as well unless you're up against the right player.

bankroll is at 1780 now after including some SNG and 3/6 among NL.

I think I play 100's multi tabling. If this is my only source of funds for a bankroll and busting out would keep me from playing, I might even 8 table the 50's for a week. That's about 12-15000 hands and should net around $1500 at 10ptBB/100 nearly doubling my roll in a very short time. With $3200 playing 200NL seems all together more reasonable.

I've had two major downswings in my short poker history. One of 80% of my roll and one of 60%. It makes me very cautious and always prepared to take the slower route.

Also. I assume when you say you know you can beat these games it's because you have beaten them before.
